December 31, 2015- the last day and the last post of the year calls for some faux fur and high heels. And while I plan on elaborating on those two things shortly, I first need to elaborate on the fact that it’s about to be New Year’s Eve and 2015 is already over. It’s safe to say that most people are discussing at this very moment how crazy fast this year flew by. I mean really, how is it over already? Where did it go? There were ups and downs, great times and bad. But that’s life, and you just have to go with the flow. There is no other option than that. Be strong and ambitious in what you want but don’t stay stuck in something that’s stagnant or not making you happy. Try not to set expectations on unrealistic or even realistic things, because things change. They shift and move and you just have to bend with them. While this year comes to a close, I can say with 100 percent certainty that it was without a doubt the biggest year of personal growth for me. Perhaps that is why it went by in the blink of an eye.

So now that I’ve covered the real-talk stuff, I need to cover the above mentioned fashion stuff, since hello, this is a fashion blog. I’ve had this faux fur coat for over a year and while I wore it a few times last winter, it just wasn’t my go-to. But something changed this season and I have been wearing it nonstop. With everything. From leggings and sneakers with beanies to jeans and high heels. I throw it on over everything because not only does it go with it all, it’s been keeping me really warm. The shoes have been worn on the blog recently, and I hope they’ll make an appearance here again many more times from here on out. They make me super happy and all smiley when I wear them and they’re just kind of perfect. And last but definitely not least, the best pair of skinny jeans that stay skinny all day. Which also make me super smiley and these ones are amazing, so get a pair. They’re the best.

That’s all for now, excited for what’s to come in 2016.
