Tulum

November 7

I recently went to Tulum in Mexico for one of my best friend’s 30th birthday. It was the most magical place I’ve ever been to and I’m already dreaming of the day when I can go back. The white sand beaches and warm ocean water, the beautiful jungles and the beautiful people, and the amazing food and fresh coconuts, it is one of the world’s little gem places to visit and even to live. I could definitely live there. We stayed at an amazing hotel, Casa Violeta, in a bungalow eight steps from the sand and I could watch the sunrise through my little bed by the window. Normal Tulum life included swinging on the jungle swing at the hotel at seven thirty in the morning and yoga on the beach. You know, the good life. I’ve been dreaming of jumping into and swimming in a cenote for years and was finally able to do it on this trip. Cenote water is pure magic and I wish I could have bottled it up and brought some home. This little town will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’m counting the days until I’m there again.
